SMART KEYLESS ENTRY*

LANE KEEPING ASSIST SYSTEM (LKAS)

Takes the stress out of long drives by subtly reinforcing your steering to help keep you centred in your lane.

FORWARD COLLISION WARNING (FCW)

Looks for vehicles in front of you and warns you if there’s a risk of collision.

ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATION SYSTEM (RDM)

Senses if you’re drifting away from the road without signalling and gently corrects your steering or braking to help keep you on track.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING FUNCTION (LDW)

Reads road markings and alerts you visually and audibly if you cross the lanes without indicating.

COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEM (CMBS)

Helps to mitigate the severity of an unavoidable frontal collision by automatically applying strong brake pressure when needed.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC)

Helps you maintain a set speed and following distance, even in stop and start traffic conditions.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT (RCTA)

Like a second set of eyes, Rear Cross Traffic Alert lets you reverse out into the street with confidence. The Rear Cross Traffic Alert detects oncoming traffic on either side, and alerts you via an audible warning and multi-view camera display. It’s clever thinking at its most practical.

Rear Cross Traffic Monitor is a drive assist technology and should not be used in place of safe driving practices. Drivers should continue to monitor the road ahead and take care when manoeuvring the vehicle at all times.

RESERVATION LOCK

Reservation lock lets you pre-lock the Odyssey so you don’t have to fumble for the fob when your hands are full. Simply click the lock button on the door handle or key fob, round up the kids, gather your things and go. The car will automatically lock when all the doors are shut so there’s no need to wait around for them to lock. It even gives you a friendly little flash and beep to let you know the car is locked.

TYRE DEFLATION WARNING SYSTEM (DWS)

The tyre deflation warning system alerts you to an abnormal decrease in tyre pressure so that you can avoid any unscheduled pit stops.

HILL START ASSIST (HSA)

Prevents ‘roll back’ when you take off from an incline. It controls the brake pressure to keep your car stationary for a few seconds after you release the brake pedal.

WHIPLASH MITIGATING FRONT SEATS

In the event of a collision, the seatback springs are optimised so that the seat will more equally absorb the occupant’s impact in a manner that can minimise the severity of a whiplash injury.

ISOFIX

The Odyssey gives you the internationally recognised standard for child seat anchorages for the 2nd row seats. Because when you’ve got kids on board, it’s good to be flexible.

AIRBAGS

The clever Honda i-SRS driver airbag system inflates at different rates depending on crash severity, seatbelt usage and a host of other factors to keep you safe behind the wheel. Dual front, side and full-length curtain airbags are standard.

BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM

You’ve checked your mirror, but before you change lanes why not let the Odyssey check one more time? If the radar detects an object in your left or right side blind spots and you indicate to change lanes in its direction, you’ll be instantly notified with a flashing icon in the door mirror and a warning sound.

Blind Spot Information System is a drive assist technology and should not be used in place of safe driving practices. Drivers should continue to monitor the road ahead and take care when manoeuvring the vehicle at all times.

WALK AWAY DOOR LOCKING

Forget to lock your door? With the Walk Away Door Locking feature, you’ll never leave your door unlocked again. If the key is in your hand, the doors will lock for you.
