Port Moresby Nature Park Receives Second Coaster Bus Donation from Ela Motors

The Port Moresby Nature Park team was delighted to receive their second coaster bus donation from Ela Motors with great appreciation. This donation was the last of the two 26 seater coaster bus donations Ela Motors has committed to the Park under its 2021 Corporate Social Responsibility Assistance Program.

The CSR program grants financial assistance and aid to support organizations in the environment, education, health and sports fields to maintain and develop sustainable communities in PNG.

In support of keeping the park operational, Ela Motors donated the buses in hope of providing necessary assistance to the park mid-last year.

The Park has been operating for over 40 years in Papua New Guinea as a non-government organization and a tourism attraction site focused on the conservation and preservation of the native wildlife. Funds generated from the park are utilized to fund the animal exhibits, their welfare and the general maintenance and operation of the park.

Ela Motors understands that education and environment are critical areas of focus for the country’s development and is confident that this donation will be of exceptional assistance to the organization.

Ela Motors Marketing Manager Benjamin Niligur stated that the company, through the sponsorship assistance, will facilitate learning opportunities for school-aged children to experience and appreciate nature by applying the learning outcomes at school to promote and create awareness of the Environment and Conservation.

The Park’s education team gave assurance that these buses will be used to transport children safely within NCD and the Central province to attend excursion programs based on the importance of native wildlife conservation, preservation and other educational activities.
