Custom paint work on your vehicle is a great way to reflect your own personal style and done the right way it can give your vehicle that wow factor. A great car will only look good if the auto paint job or wrap on the vehicle is done in a professional and equally artistic way.
We look at 10 Custom Vehicles with one-off looks that are sure to turn heads, some for the right reasons and some for the wrong.
Mini Alan Aldridge
The MINI Aldridge Special, designed by legendary artist, illustrator and graphic designer Alan Aldridge, the artist who illustrated lyric books for the Beatles and album covers for The Rolling Stones! Peace out!
Lamborghini TRON
Not too flashy for a ticket. London Police seized this custom Lamborghini TRON when the wealthy Qatari owner of the supercar failed to produce a valid licence and the correct insurance for the vehicle.
Mercedes McLaren Chrome
As if this Mercedes McLAren wasn’t flashy enough they had to go and chrome it out. Obnoxiously over the top this vehicle demands attention like a Prom Queen at Prom.
70s McLaren MP4-12C
This custom paint job will set you back a hefty $120,000 and took this 70S Mclaren MP4-12C to a whole new level of cool.
Bugatti L’Or Blanc
This one-of-a-kind work of art Bugatti sold for – wait for it – $2.5 million.
BMW M3
Jeff Koons used clear coat and vinyl wrap: that is all it took to create this masterpiece.
Lamborghini Sharpie Gallardo
The graffiti artist from Miami did not disappoint Brett David with his amazing sharpie art, giving the car a unique and totally one off look. The car was actually done in sharpie markers on the paint and then finished with a clear coat for protection. It took about 2 weeks to complete.
Gold Continental GTR
This black and gold schemed Bentley has been customised in original Japanese artwork by Nakamura Tetsuei (Asi-Tetsu) and in 2008 would have set you back a cool $800,000.
Citroen Snakeskin
Are you green with envy or just left feeling a little green around the gills? If you suffer from car sickness you may want to steer clear of this nausea inducing road ‘trip’.
Camo Continental GT
Mario Balotelli’s Bentley was wrapped in a matte-camo wrap, when he gifted it to a teammate. Unfortunately his teammate’s first act of appreciation was to remove the wrap. Hmmm, isn’t it the thought that counts?
