The highly efficient 10-speed automatic transmission provides impressive refinement and performance, including enhanced acceleration and torque delivery while towing and comes standard with auto stop/start technology and Dynamic Fuel Management. The Silverado 1500 LTZ also comes with the advanced Autotrac system which is a 2-speed automatic, active transfer case. This system provides five modes: Auto 4WD, 4HI, 4LO, 2HI and Neutral. The Autotrac 4WD transfer case has an automatic mode where it seamlessly delivers power to the front wheels based on the road conditions and driving style.
