Excluded from this cover are: Cylinder head(s), engine block or barrels or blown head gaskets.

   Differential and Drive Line

Axle hub bearings, axle shafts, bearings, bushings, centre bearings, crown wheel and pinion, drive axle housing (if damage is due to failure of internally lubricated components), drive shafts, front hub bearings, gears, half shafts, limited slip clutch pack, locking hub assemblies, swivel hubs, U and CV joints.

   Cooling System

   Terms and Conditions – 12 Months of Mechanical Protection

1. Subject to these Terms and Conditions blinkr provides the Purchaser (at no extra cost) 12 months of Mechanical Protection on all cars (with uncapped kilometres) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
2. blinkr warrants that if a defect or damage appears in respect to Covered Components (link to diagram of Covered Components) caused by Mechanical Breakdown, blinkr will pay the repair costs.
3. The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees:
   • the Mechanical Protection provider is Servco Australia Essendon Fields Pty Ltd;
   • the term of Mechanical Protection is 12 months commencing from the date of delivery;
   • the total claims value for any vehicle cannot exceed the original purchase price of the vehicle;
   • that it has read and understood the terms and conditions for the Mechanical Protection. This includes the terms and conditions of the vehicle’s Manufacturer’s Warranty and any exclusions or limitations to that warranty as well as the in relation to that warranty.
4. For the avoidance of doubt:
   • Nothing in the mechanical protection provided affects, modifies or excludes the rights and remedies of the customer available under the Australian Consumer Law or any statutory warranty.
   • The mechanical protection commences immediately after the relevant statutory warranty [and/or Manufacturer’s Warranty] period .
   • Should the vehicle be sold with a balance of Manufacturer’s Warranty that exceeds 12 months no additional mechanical protection will apply. This mechanical protection offering ensures that all vehicles sold by blinkr have a minimum of 12 months protection under either or a combination of:
     1. [any relevant statutory warranty;]
     2. the balance of any available Manufacturer’s Warranty; and

• this mechanical protection offering.

5. For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions:
   • Covered Components means the vehicle parts and components listed above in relation to which this Mechanical Protection Plan is stated to apply. Any parts or components not listed are specifically excluded.
   • Manufacturer’s Warranty means the original car warranty provided by the vehicle’s manufacturer covering mechanical and electrical components of the car.
   • Mechanical Breakdown means the failure of the components and parts causing sudden stoppage of their function necessitating repair or replacement and not arising from defects in material and/or workmanship of the components and parts.
   • Mechanical Protection means the undertaking by blinkr in paragraph 2 of these Terms and .
