Combining the iconic style and design of a traditional Bonneville, with the enhanced handling and power of a modern day Triumph, the new Speed Twin has seen many changes for 2021.

Looking deeper into the engine, the speed twin engine has a reputation of delivering large amounts of torque and is incredibly responsive across the rev range. Triumph’s focus was simple… aiming to improve that performance. A new low-inertia crack, high compression piston all help boost the power output of the 1200cc engine, now producing 98.6 bhp @ 7250 rpm and max torque of 112 Nm @ 4250 rpm.

Your body position on the Speed Twin is relaxed and planted within the feel of the bike. The upright position is contributed by the footpegs and handlebar set up, allowing longer trips on the road, without sacrificing comfort. Front and rear suspension have been tuned to deliver class-leading handling. A new high-end Marzocchi USD cartridge forks are present in the front as well as a twin rear shock 120mm controlled damping set up is offered at the back. This combination helps build that roaster focus, benchmarking confidence-inspiring, agile and intuitive handling.

The new Speed Twin is loaded with modern technology, from LED lighting to rider modes. The contemporary, twin-packed clocks display all the necessary information and offer a user-friendly menu system that is accessible by the handlebar mounted scroll button so that riders can change a particular setting of the bike, without moving their hands off the grips.
