One of BMW’s most power hungry superbikes on offer is back for 2021, offering some of the most impressive power specifications and technology ever seen on a BMW motorcycle.
Delivering a jaw dropping 207 hp with a maximum torque of 113 Nm at 11,000 rpm, this machine is built for pure adrenaline performance. This is largely thanks to the new BMW ShiftCam technology, which selects the valve opening time and the valve lift by means of camshaft, even in low and medium engine speed ranges significantly more torque and power is applied.
With almost every component redesigned for the new model, the S 1000 RR has seen a reduction in weight and an increase in performance. Even when standing still, the BMW S 1000 RR looks like it can deliver some absolute carnage. Designed specifically for maximum performance, the frame layout with new suspension technology makes the RR lighter and enhances handling precision. Thanks to the modified frame and fairing design, the seating position is unrivalled and offers aerodynamic ergonomics.
The front end of the S 1000 RR is pretty iconic now, and 2021 retains the dramatic and aggressive look of the LED headlights. You can see them coming a mile away! The front indicators have wandered from the fairing to the rear view mirrors, which not only looks aesthetically pleasing, but also provides improved visibility.
To really test out the full capacity and potential of the S 1000 RR, a track day is the place to be. Simply removing the rear view mirror and the number plate holder, transforms the street ready S 1000 RR into a weapon of a race bike.
