The new 2021 KTM 690 SMC R offers riders a world of two-wheeled fun!

With a lightweight chassis, the legendary 690 LC4 motor and advanced electronics… What more does one need in a Supermoto?

The latest fully-adjustable WP APEX suspension offers superb handling. Paired with a lightweight frame that uses top-quality chrome-molybdenum steel, the design offers high torsional rigidity for enhanced mobility.

Powering this Supermoto is the LC4 690cc single-cylinder engine, which combines punchy acceleration with aggressive torque. The ride-by-wire system helps significantly improve the response and feel of the throttle. This is done with the help of electric sensors that activate the throttle valves to control throttle action. Single-cylinders can be overly sensitive to a twist of a throttle, so this will drastically ensure a smoother experience for riders.

With a polished 6 speed transmission, the addition of a Quickshifter allows for easy clutchless up and down shifts. Imagine carving up a turn without worrying about compromising your handling when reaching for the clutch lever. This helps riders retain full control of the vehicle at all times! The front brake is the latest generation BREMBO M 4.32 Monoblock caliper which delivers class-leading stopping power.

Sporting lightweight tapered 808mm wide handlebars, the 690 SMC R has a rather upright riding position. With plenty of ground clearance, the finely grained, gripped seat sits 890mm off the ground.
