The debut of Harley’s new Street Bob 114™ was a definite highlight in Harley Davidson’s® recent virtual global launch event. A part of the Softail™ range, the 2021 Street Bob™ receives a gruntier, more aggressive Milwaukee-Eight™ 114 engine.
So how much of an upgrade is this?
Well compared to the previous Milwaukee-Eight™ 107 V-Twin powerplant, the 114 engine puts out 161Nm of torque at 3000rpm. Harley® claims the new model also is 9% quicker from 0-60mph and is 13% faster from 60-80 mph in fifth gear. Aesthetically, the 2021 Harley-Davidson® Street Bob™ is a stripped-down bobber, featuring a chopped fender, mini-ape handlebars, and black steel-laced wheels. It’s undoubtedly on brand with Harley’s® classic styling, yet 2021 has elevated the colours variations and finishes to the next level.
H-D® 2021 Street Bob™ 114 Colour Variations:
- Vivid Black
- Stone Washed White Pearl
- Baja Orange
- Deadwood Green
Harley® has outdone themselves with the finishing of the 2021 Street Bob™ 114. It would be an understatement to describe the finish as being anything other than absolutely stunning. Each colour variation features the Harley-Davidson® script logo over the secondary colour with the classic ‘Number One’ logo on the fuel tank. As seen throughout the 2021 models, Harley® has introduced a “Blacked-Out” aesthetic. This darkened look is seen across all the colour options in the new 2021 Street Bob™, blacking the engine cases, exhaust, and cover fairing.
Other upgrades include a free-flowing ventilator with an exposed badge and a standard pillion pad for a passenger. Retaining from the previous Street Bob™ 107 is the USB charging port, keyless ignition, digital gauge, and standard 2-into-2 offset exhaust. However, an option to add on a Screamin’ Eagle® low-weight 2-into-1 exhaust will result in the bike squeezing out even more performance, cutting weight, and sounding sensational. A Stain Black or Stainless finish are available.
